The suites have traditional tiled floors, large windows overlooking the courtyard, high cedar ceilings, and hand-crafted furniture and decorative items.  While the structure and décor of Dar Roumana retains its traditional character, modern conveniences have been discreetly added.  All guest accommodation includes a private bath, complete with bathrobes and local toiletries, and personal safe-deposit boxes.  The rooms do not feature TVs or telephones, which might detract from the tranquility and traditional nature of life in the medina; however, there is a satellite TV and DVD library tucked away in a cosy lounge. The Tamarind & Yamsina Suites do have air conditioning, while the ground floor suites stay naturally comfortable year-round, but we do provide heating in the winter months.  Rates are quoted per night with breakfast and taxes included.

Roumana Suite : 120 euro

The Roumana Suite opens onto the tiled courtyard and fountain and remains refreshingly cool even in the height of summer.  The bathroom includes a large claw-foot bathtub and a separate tiled shower. No air con.

Argana Suite: 80 Euro

Available from mid-April 2008, the Argana comprises a bedroom with double bed, separate sitting area, and bathroom with tiled shower stall.  The suite is on the top floor of Dar Roumana (three flights of stairs) in a turret, so it is one of the most private suites and the only suite that does not look into the courtyard.   Instead, it has a picture window overlooking the entire medina. Guests over 6ft tall should note that the ceiling in the shower is lower than the rest of the suite.  The Argana is air conditioned.
