Dining at Dar Roumana....beyond tagine and couscous

Breakfast at Dar Roumana includes an array of freshly baked breads and pastries, coffee and tea, freshly squeezed juices, fruit salad, home-made preserves, yoghurt and eggs to order.  Guests may take breakfast in their rooms, in the shaded courtyard, or on the roof terrace.

For our in-house guests, on Monday nights our housekeeper Naima offers you the chance to try the taste of Moroccan home cooking. Three courses are 250dh per person, excluding beverages.

A big part of the Dar Roumana experience is the food. Our restaurant is open six nights a week to outside diners and the word is out that a visit to Fes is not complete without dining here.

Our chef Vincent Bonnin was classically trained in France and learned the ropes in Michelin-starred restaurants around the world. Since moving to Morocco he has adapted his Mediterranean style cuisine to incorporate influences from his new home.

Our menu changes daily and reflects a seasonal approach to cooking – Vincent creates dishes depending on what he finds fresh in the markets that morning. You will have a choice of three to four entrees, main courses and desserts.

You may choose to have three courses, or opt for a lighter meal of just two courses. Three courses are 350dh per person and two courses are 275dh per person, excluding beverages, service and taxes.

Join us Tuesday-Sunday (Mondays we are open exclusively for Dar Roumana residents) from 18:30 for aperitifs. Dinner service commences at 19:30, with last orders at 21:00.

Due to the restaurant’s popularity we do advise that you call in advance to make a reservation. Also, if you have special dietary requirements please let us know the day before so we can accommodate your preferences.
